Savvas has extensive experience in Corporate Law with specific expertise and focus on the wider Banking, Financial and Insurance sectors. Throughout his career, Savvas has been an entrepreneur and an executive in the financial sector, and over the last ten years, he has been acting as an expert advisor on financial and regulatory matters to both local and international clients, including large private equity firms, financial services firms and corporates.
At the inception of his career, Savvas worked as an Investment Advisor at Morgan Stanley in New York and London in the Private Wealth Management. From 2000 up until 2013, he founded and managed two Financial Services Advisory firms, which he successfully sold. Since then, he has been an expert advisor to clients in the sector.
He is an active member of the private equity and business angel community in Cyprus and director and co-founder of the Cyprus Business Angels Network. Over the last twenty years, he has been a member of various listed companies and still is a member of a number of public and private companies particularly in the financial services sector and holds both the AMLCO and Advanced certificates issued by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission.
